About Us

Since first opening its doors in 1988, Tummies has grown considerably over the years and now encompasses not only the popular Restaurant & Bar, but also a Cookery School, a Chef’s Table, and even a Bespoke Events team.

Still owned and operated by myself, my aim and passion passion remain the same : to serve great quality, serious but unpretentious food, with a friendly and personal service, in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

We are now open every day for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner apart from Sunday evenings and Bank Holiday Lunchtimes. Our Bar is now very popular in the evenings and especially towards the week-end or when we feature one of our Live Music nights.

We now are also able to offer some Meeting Rooms and some Private Dining Rooms for hire for those requiring privacy and exclusivity for either business meetings or private functions.

Our Bespoke Events team is also always at hand, whether running one of our many “In-house” events or an “Outside Catering” function away from Tummies.

The Cookery School is located towards the back of the Restaurant where I personally run numerous courses on offer for either the General Public or even Team Building events for local companies.

And if all of this is not enough “The Chef’s Table” is a must for any special occasion! You will be sat around our beautiful Maple Table, where I will cook a bespoke meal for you and your guest right in front of you.
